- AK Distribution is a non-profit workers' co-operative anarchist publisher and radical distributor based in Edinburgh, London & San Francisco.
- anarchist.academics is a UK-centric mailing list for people interested in anarchism and involved with academic institutions or doing academic work (e.g. students, lecturers, independent researchers, etc).

- Anarchy Archives: An Online Research Center on the History and Theory of Anarchism
- Centre International de Recherches sur l'Anarchisme (CIRA) The CIRA library houses works on the anarchist movement, its history and philosophy in all languages: books and pamphlets, periodicals, academic researches, manuscripts and archives. It also collects illustrations (photos, postcards, posters, reproductions of works of art, etc.), films and audio material on cassettes and CDs. An annual readers card costs 40 Swiss francs or 30 Euros. Recent books and brochures may be taken out on loan from the library, by mail.
- Collective Book On Collective Process This is a handbook on group process for egalitarian collectives. Its focus is on the often unrecognized negative dynamics that can occur when people try to work collectively. It is a collaborative work-in-progress, and everybody is invited to contribute.
- enrager.net is a growing resource of information for newcomers, and aims to provide tools to facilitate communication and networking around Britain's libertarian and anti-capitalist movements.
- Freedom Press is an independent anarchist
publisher. We produce a newspaper, which comes out every two weeks, and we publish books on all aspects of anarchist theory and practice.
- Institute for Anarchist Studies: promoting critical scholarship on social domination and the reconstructive vision of a free society. Publishes a biannual newsletter, Perspectives on Anarchist Theory, as well as online essays, to cultivate community among those interested in the development of anarchism and keep supporters apprised of our accomplishments. They also give grants!
- Institute for Social Ecology is an independent institution of higher education dedicated to the study of social ecology, an interdisciplinary field drawing on philosophy, political and social theory, anthropology, history, economics, the natural sciences, and feminism. The ISE views the global penetration of systems of domination into daily life, the centralization of political and economic power, the homogenization of culture, and the strengthening of hierarchy and social control as impediments to human freedom and the root causes of the current ecological crisis.
- Noam Chomsky Archive Chomsky is one of America's most prominent political dissidents. A renowned professor of linguistics at MIT, he has authored over 30 political books dissecting such issues as U.S. interventionism in the developing world, the political economy of human rights and the propaganda role of corporate media.
- Poststructuralist Anarchism Clearinghouse "neither the normalization of classical anarchism nor the depoliticization of poststructuralism" -- provides loose definition of poststructuralist anarchism with links and recommended reading.
- Research on Anarchism Forum Hosts lists of anarchist PhDs, a discussion list and information on historical and contemporary anarchist activists and theorists.
- Seeds for Change offer free workshops and training to grassroots campaigners, as well as briefings and resources on practical campaigning skills, working in groups and using computer technology.
- Shifting Ground is an activist research and education collective and network. Shifting Ground explores the contemporary conflicts around politics and culture, with a specific focus on environmental and community-based movements for social change. We are inspired by the tension between the overtly important events and institutions of society, and the activities, political relations and power structures that are more submerged and sometimes ignored by those who focus on the obvious.
- The Spoon Collective is dedicated to promoting discussion of philosophical and political issues. They maintain a number of discussion lists and websites on issues ranging from poststructuralist anarchism to the politics of puppetry. Definitely worth a look.
- Word Power is Scotland's independent and radical bookshop. Their online bookshop is an alternative to corporate bookselling chains and some online companies which ban trade unions.
